Pavlos holds a PhD from the LSE. He has worked as a senior researcher in the FP7 projects GeMIC (Gender, Migration and Intercultural Interaction) and Mig@net (Migration, Gender and Transnational Digital Networks) at the Centre for Gender Studies of Panteion University and for projects on ‘Racism and new media’ at the Department of Communication and Internet Studies at the Technological University of Cyprus, ‘New media and education’ at the Foundation for Research & Technology, Greece and on Logistical Worlds coordinated by the University of Western Sydney. He is currently working as a researcher for UNHCR, Greece and teaching as an adjunct lecturer at the Cyprus Open University since 2017. Pavlos has published several articles on space/time and urban social movements, has co-edited the volume Religion in International Relations: The Return from Exile (Palgrave, 2003) and has authored the book The Balkans beyond Nationalism and Identity (IB Tauris, 2007).
